Lived up to expectations

Sep 27, 2015 by Norah

My local Pizza Express restaurant in Cambridge looks like a museum from the outside, and rather like an afternoon tea parlour on the inside. I had wanted to visit for a while. Previ picked me as a mystery diner at Pizza Express and I excitedly anticipated the Friday afternoon when I visited all week. I sat in the piano bar area which felt rather splendid, the gentle background music was a very welcome addition. I must say it all felt rather colonial and not like an Italian pizza restaurant at all! However I needn’t have worried as when my pizza arrived it would rival the finest pizzeria in Naples. There was just the right amount of cheese (I hate too much), the tomato sauce base was simply lip-smacking, and the fresh basil and fresh tomatoes were the jewel in the crown of my Margherita Bufala. I liked the thin crisp base, much better than a thick doughy base in my opinion. It would have been rude not to have a dessert so I ordered the vanilla panna cotta. It could have done with a little more vanilla (if I had to be fussy), but other than that it was the perfect light end to my meal. The service was good and the pricepoint looked excellently placed from a quick glance over the menu. I will be back Jesus Lane Pizza Express! Thank you!

Great Vacuum

Sep 24, 2015 by Ellora

This vacuum is great. The telescopic hose fits in neatly to form the handle, but I would say that you kind of have to get used to the order in which to put it in which might annoy some. I have mastered this now but at first it was a little frustrating. Other than that this vacuum is light, compact and powerful and works brilliantly. My husband seems to always be doing the vacuuming now - it's brilliant!

Blown away

Sep 22, 2015 by Raj

A vacuum is a vacuum right? Wrong. I was blown away (pardon the pun) by this little dust buster. Superb efficiency, smart design, powerful suction and glided smoothly across my wooden floors. I really can't fault it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a professional and fuss-free vacuum cleaner.

Well done Apple on another amazing product!

A boosted camera, better design, larger screen without making the phone too bulky, and improved battery life; the iPhone 6 is heralded as a vast improvement on the previous iPhone model. So did it live up to the fanfare that precedes it? It sure does. I loved everything about the iPhone 6; the larger screen made it a breeze for watching movies and video clips, whilst the sound quality was epic. The power button has been moved to the side of the phone (it was always traditionally on the top for previous models), and this makes a lot more sense I think and works really well. Like the rest of the exterior buttons, the power key is raised and easy to hit in both left and right-hand modes. You can choose whether you want Space Gray (like I had for this iPhone review), or the more standard silver or gold. There was a shortage of the champagne gold colour last year, and this makes me sad that people hurry to get that colour just because it was hard to come by. I think you should go with your heart! This phone was great, I am very grateful to Previ for the opportunity. Thank you.

Brilliant product, very pleased

As an e-reader, the Kindle Fire HD is very pleasing. The screen display is excellent – clear and detailed - and the touch screen works excellently. I seem to be finding myself using it to read books at home which I never did previously with my Kindle 3G. I downloaded some photos from my girlfriend's Facebook to try this function out – I found it very easy to do and the photos look wonderful. What has really surprised me, however, is that I am now finding myself using the Fire HD for all internet and e-mail access. Both functions are easy to use and very intuitive, and it is just easier to carry the Fire HD around than the iPad. I have always worried about taking the iPad out and about because of its size, even though the ability to use WiFi abroad has been invaluable. It looks like the iPad can stay at home now, as I have an e-reader and internet access in one machine.

A lovely evening

Sep 17, 2015 by Maggie

The waiting staff were attentive, and I was glad they sat us near the window to see the gorgeous views out over the bay. As seems to be common in eating establishments these days, waiters flitted between tables and we didn’t have one dedicated waiter the whole evening, instead being served by two or three different people. On this occasion it didn’t matter too much as the staff were all very good, but in other restaurants it has annoyed me profusely. I ordered a Sloppy Giuseppe and my friend had a Fiorentina- both were very nice and well cooked, with nice fresh ingredients. We are creatures of habit and always order the same pizzas- we know what we like! We enjoyed two beers and had a lovely evening together; sharing the chocolate fudge cake was a good idea- we were really full after a pizza and couldn’t have eaten a whole one each. Overall a lovely evening and we were very happy to mystery dine for you again!

Love these nail paints!

Sep 12, 2015 by Sarah

The OPI application nail brush was flat, wide and medium in length, with an average stiffness and a nice spread when pressed. The only downside would be that it might be too wide for slim fingers or tiny toes. I found that the lacuqers had a nice thin texture which was similar to most jelly polishes. I found that they all had excellent pigmentation and even though four of the darker shades (green, purple, turquoise and blue) were a bit streaky to start with, the other four were perfect. The range of colours was lovely, but I would have liked to have seen a pale pink in there somewhere too- but I guess the 'pop' of the loud colours is what this 'paint' range is all about! I really enjoyed sampling these gorgeous nail paints, thank you Previ.

BEST nail polish!

Sep 08, 2015 by Melody

There's a reason that many professional salons use OPI. I truly love these nail polishes; from the smooth coverage to the great rainbow of colours, OPI is where it is at to make my nails pretty and fun. Both toes and fingers benefited from this trial; I used the silver base first and then layered on 'Chromatic Orange'. There were heavy red undertones to the shade, which was a little less zesty than I would have liked. However, I only needed one coat in the end which was just fabulous. I felt fabulous! My nails were fabulous! The colour was fabulous! Especially with my tan, this nail polish really popped and brought fun to my toes. I won't use another brand- not when OPI gets it right time and time again for me. Thanks for the trial!?

Never again!

Sep 03, 2015 by Mary Ellis

I won't be eating at a Nando's again. It's nothing more than an overpriced fried chicken shop! If you don't like chips, chicken or other beige food, then don't eat here. I was searching for some greens. Searching for some culture. Searching for some gastronomic ingenuity. Alas, not at Nando's. Thanks for the opportunity, but never again.

A bit pointless...

Sep 02, 2015 by Nikki

I didn't really understand this nail polish. I mean, why would anyone want to take time applying TWO colours to make another colour? Why wouldn't you just buy the colour you want and save yourself the time? I usually love O.P.I nail paints, but this is a bit of a gullible person's trap and O.P.I are no doubt going to make a fortune out of this clever marketing ploy. That aside, the paint went on really nicely and the effect afterwards was impressive. No streaks and it dried quickly. However I would rather just buy the colour I want to start with, rather than all this messing around!
